President of the Asia-Pacific Committee

Honorable directors, fellow chairs, and esteem delegates,

My name is Bao Pham or Brian Pham, I’m a senior at the American International School (AMIS). It í with full honor to say that for SAIMUN 2018, I will be serving you as the president of the Asia-Pacific Committee (APAC). Originally APAC was established to monitor and control the growth of the Asia-Pacific economy, through the last few decades APAC as slowly began to discuss politically challenging issues within Asia-Pacific, such as the topics for discussion in our committee this year.

My priority as the president of the committee is to ensure that the delegates will enjoy their time in APAC and be proud of the accomplishment that they will make. Also, I’m a very dramatic delegate, so I hope that I can bring that energy to the committee, to make this conference as memorable as possible for my delegates. I understand how stressful it’s to be a delegate, but my two wonderful co-chairs Justin Kim, and Ted Dennis, and I are there to help you, so don’t hesitate to come and say hello.

Make your entrance as fabulous as possible.

Brian Pham
